The Hof University of Applied Sciences Alumni Association - A strong network for alumni and students
The Hof University of Applied Sciences Alumni Association is a lively community of alumni, students and supporters. Our aim is to promote exchange and cooperation between alumni and the university. We offer a strong network that strengthens both professional and personal relationships. Through events, networking opportunities and the exchange of knowledge, our members always remain closely connected to the university. The Alumni Association makes it possible to actively shape the development of Hof University of Applied Sciences and to benefit from the diverse resources and experiences of the community.

Our history
The founding of Hof University of Applied Sciences
In 1994, the long-awaited wish for a university in the region was fulfilled – Hof University of Applied Sciences was founded. Studies began in October 1994 with around 90 students and 2 professors. Initially housed in an extension to the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Administration of Justice, the university moved into its own building on Alfons-Goppel-Platz in 1998.
Foundation of the alumni association
The Alumni Association was founded in 2005 on the initiative of graduates and professors. Since then, the number of members has grown steadily. Today, over 460 alumni are active members of the association, which offers a platform for exchange and professional development.
Development of Hof University
Hof University of Applied Sciences has developed continuously since its foundation. The first 14 graduates received their diplomas back in 1998. Today, around 3,800 students study at the university, which has made a name for itself with its innovative orientation and practice-oriented teaching.
Highlights and events
The Alumni Association regularly organizes events that promote exchange between alumni, students and the university. Particularly noteworthy are the Homecoming gatherings, which traditionally take place every two years and are a highlight of the association’s social life. We look forward to celebrating reunions with alumni at the university again soon.
